Young Adult Bible Study 18- to 29-year-olds
Are you a young adult? Are you looking for a bible study with other young adults? Please come join us on Sundays 4pm-5pm in the youth room. We are fixing to start a new study called Standing Strong in an Unstable World by Jeremy C. Higle.
here is the description of what the study is about.
The Book of Daniel contains some of the most famous stories in the Bible. While we learn these stories as children, they are actually written for adults. Daniel and his friends lived as exiles in a society filled with idolatry, corrupt politics, and military conflict. In this way the book speaks directly into today's secular culture. The second half of the book is composed of prophecies that span thousands of years beyond the life of Daniel. These prophecies are cited by Jesus and expanded on by John in Revelation. Some of these prophecies have be perfectly fulfilled and others will come at the end of the Age. Lesson titles include: Grasping God's Work in the World, When God Puts You Where You Don't Want to Be, Why God's People Preach to a Lost World, Three Facts that Never Fail, What Only God Can Do, What to Flee and What to Find, When the World Seems Out of Control, and more.

Looking for Christmas Parade Volunteer's
The Christmas Parade, 2025, is coming up on December 12.
Hey guys & gals, what an exciting time to once again partake in our community's Christmas Parade right here in Portales! I think two important things that we, as believers in Christ, can do are
1. To share the gospel with the lost,
2. To make the presence of Christ known in our communities.
And this year we will be able to do that again! We will be walking from the college to the square alongside the float and will be personally handing out 1,500 gospel tracks with as well as invitations to our candlelight service. Women's Thursday Morning Bible Study
