A word from Pastor CJ here at Emmanuel Baptist
Many people often wonder what they might anticipate when walking into a new church. Even if they are just traveling through and are stopping by for a visit, so, I would like to take a quick minute and share what you will encounter when walking through the doors here at Emmanuel Baptist.
First, be ready to receive a loving welcome from whoever you might encounter; our church family warmly welcomes all who come through the doors.
Secondly, all our teaching is grounded in 100% of God's Holy and infallible word, from Genesis to Revelation.
Thirdly, we strive to carry out the Great Commission as Jesus gave in Matthew 28:18-20, making sure, through the leading of God, we are making disciples, baptizing, and teaching all of scripture just as our Lord Christ commanded us.
Fourthly, we have a laid-back atmosphere, where laughter is often heard, the coffee pot is always hot and fresh, and there is no dress code! Jeans, shorts, and yes, even T-shirts are popular here!
Lastly, our church is united! And we strive to be the body of Christ as Paul spoke about in Ephesians 1:22-23 and to understand that God calls all of us to be under the leadership of Him as the head, and we are to Edify one another, and be about the will of Christ.
